A small but dedicated team of Judo International members travelled to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra for the Canberra International Open on 17-18 April, accompanied by Coach Luc Tournier. The event attracted around 350 competitors from around Australia which is fantastic support under the current Covid-19 environment. Great performances from all team members as follows:
GOLD: Marty O'Dea, M5 u81kg
GOLD: Saya Middleton, Junior Women -63kg
SILVER: Marty O'Dea combined M3-M5 u73kg
SILVER: Saya Middleton, Senior Women -63kg
Timeo Tournier was unplaced for this event, but fought hard and showed his signature fighting spirit.
