Club members Timeo Tournier (Cadet Men -55kg) and Saya Middleton (Junior Women -63kg) represented Australia at the PanAmerican-Oceania Championships held in Lima, Peru on 15-17 April 2022.
It was Timeo's first international competition as a cadet where he finished with a very credible 5th place. Saya placed 3rd in her division and also picked up a bronze medal in the junior team event.
The Australian team was also able to attend the post-tournament training camp where they were able to gain valuable experience and skills training with other international athletes.
Congratulations to both players for their selection to the Australian Team and for the great results. We look forward to more international appearances from both athletes.
